Analyze months of health data via a local MCP server
An author connected a local MCP server with 14 tools for blood tests, sleep, CGM and supplements to Claude Desktop, which analyzed six months of biomarkers after a back injury. ·
Done withClaude
- What they did
- Amandeep Khurana had Claude Code build a TypeScript MCP server in about 2 hours. It wraps his Wellavy tracker's REST APIs and is registered in Claude Desktop's config. He also added Oura, Whoop and Libre MCP servers. After his back injury he asked one question, and Claude pulled blood, sleep, CGM and supplement data itself.
- How it went
- In 3-5 minutes Claude flagged low ferritin, fragmenting deep sleep and other trends, then ranked risk factors and recommendations. His doctors called the analysis spot-on and broadly agreed with the plan.
- Worth knowing
- A remote OAuth server failed silently in Claude Desktop, so he used API keys in the URL, which routes data through Railway. He also cut the tools from over 20 to 14.
Try it yourself with Claude
I'm going to share [blood test results, sleep data, glucose readings, supplement log] covering [time period] after [injury or health event]. Look for trends, correlations, and anything that changed around [date], and summarize them in plain language with a table of key biomarkers. Finish with a list of questions to bring to my doctor, and don't give a diagnosis.
