Research newsletter ideas into a Notion backlog
A Content Researcher Bot researches an idea across YouTube, the web via Tavily and X, and adds findings to the author's Notion content backlog.
Done withGrok Bot
- What they did
- Wyndo created a named Content Researcher bot in Grok Bot. He gave it background on his newsletter, AI Maker, and connected Supadata for YouTube data, X, Notion and Tavily. Given a newsletter idea, the bot researches it across YouTube, the web and X, then adds the findings to his Notion content backlog. He authorized X and Notion through a sign-in button the bot raised in chat.
- How it went
- Wyndo says he returns to Notion and finds source material waiting instead of an empty idea card. He reviews it manually. He shows a live test but gives no quantified results.
- Worth knowing
- The bot's progress view is sparse, so you can't see why a task is slow. The X API connection involves funded access, so check current pricing first.
Try it yourself with Grok Bot
Research this newsletter idea: [your idea]. Look across YouTube, the web, and X for what people are already saying, the best sources, and gaps I could cover. Add a new entry to my Notion content backlog at [Notion database name] with a summary, links, and a suggested angle. Stop once the entry is saved and show me the link.
