Track weight, stretching and recovery with a personal agent
The author ran OpenClaw for six months to log weight, regenerate progress graphs, track stretching and injury recovery, and handle food logging, with read-only email and finance access.
Done withOpenClaw
- What they did
- OpenClaw runs on an old laptop, with its workspace inside the author's Obsidian vault, and he talks to it over WhatsApp. He messages meals, photos, his morning weight, workouts and stretching. It checks a common-foods file, logs entries to daily notes, regenerates the weight graph and saves weekly progress photos. Email, finance and investment access is read-only, and he commits the vault changes himself.
- How it went
- He went from about 94 kg to about 80 kg since late 2025. Food logging, the graph and the routine worked daily. Downsides were being tied to his phone and occasional breakage from software changes.
- Worth knowing
- He runs GPT models through a $20 ChatGPT Plus subscription, because 6–21 million tokens a day would cost roughly $10–40 daily at Opus API prices.
