Email Houston dealerships to shop for a car
Cowork built a dealership tracking sheet, sent outreach emails, filled web forms and managed replies; a separate 100+ receipt expense job hit limits and moved to Claude Code.

- What they did
- Margot had Cowork build a spreadsheet of Houston dealerships that fit her criteria. It then drafted and sent outreach emails, filled in contact forms on dealership sites, and handled the reply threads. When dealers answered with inventory details, Claude replied to their follow-up questions in a second round.
- How it went
- Within an hour, several dealerships had replied with inventory details. Margot called it futuristic but childlike. Her first run sent from an unexpected email address. Separately, Karen Spinner's 100+ receipt job hit tool-call limits and finished in five minutes in Claude Code.
- Worth knowing
- State exactly which email account Cowork may send from, since the first run used the wrong one. Also tell it to skip any dealer where it gets stuck and move on.

Help me shop for a [car make and model] in [city]. Build a tracking sheet of [number] nearby dealerships with contact details, then draft outreach emails asking for out-the-door pricing on [trim, color, budget]. Pause and show me the emails and any web forms before sending or submitting them, then log replies in the sheet and summarize the best offers.
