Order family groceries from fridge contents

A parent has Grok Bot check a connected Samsung fridge and order groceries twice a week, hunting discounts, applying codes, and handling pickup timing.

Done withGrok Bot

What they did
The parent says Grok Bot is connected to a Samsung fridge, where it can view two camera-visible shelves, and they supplemented that by feeding it a typical grocery list built from scanned past receipts. Twice a week the agent checks what is likely needed, adds routine items, hunts discounts and promo codes, then places the order and times pickup for set days at one of two stores on the drive home; the human mainly set the rules and gets a morning message to combine pickups.
How it went
They say it saves substantial time, money, and energy, and in Norway they also have it push the grocery info into Oda while making sure the basket clears the roughly $80 free-delivery threshold. The fridge camera only covers two shelves, so the receipt-based list is needed to fill gaps.
Worth knowing
To avoid usage caps, they say they keep bots on checkpoints that interact only once or twice a day.

Try it yourself with Grok Bot

Check what's in my connected fridge [brand/app] and build a grocery order for my household of [number] for [store]. Look for discounts and apply any valid codes, and choose a pickup time at [store location] that fits [my schedule]. Before you place the order or pay, show me the full cart, total, and pickup time and wait for my approval.
