Triage email by voice while walking

Allie Miller used ChatGPT voice mode with Codex to triage important emails, draft replies, archive or delete items and log action items.

What they did
Used ChatGPT mobile app with Codex remote on a paid subscription, after granting aggressive permissions and setting up a sticky note on Mac. While walking with EarPods, spoke voice commands to have it scan and triage emails (skip newsletters, handle client/contract/invoice/bug ones), archive/delete/star items, draft replies, and log action items to the note; extended to Notion/Slack and goal reviews for day/week/month. User gave verbal instructions per email and handled permission pop-ups.
How it went
Returned from walk exercised and happy, then reviewed the sticky-note to-do list and email drafts at desk. Voice mode cut off after 90 minutes and phone overheated.
Worth knowing
Requires always-allow permissions for silent blocks and new threads to resume after 90-minute cutoff.

Try it yourself with Codex

Go through my [Gmail or other email account] inbox for the last [time period] and pick out the important emails. For each one, summarize it in a sentence, draft a reply for me to approve, and add any action items to [file or task list]. Don't send, archive, or delete anything until I confirm, and read me the summary so I can reply by voice.
